Experience
Kass has over 23 years of experience in the Social Service field, providing direct services to individuals and families in various settings. She has had the opportunity to receive training at Loyola's Sexual Dysfunction Clinic, as well as serve as an advocate for Y.W.C.A.R.E.S., an agency that assists those who have been affected by sexual assault. Kass has served as an adjunct therapist at Iowa Lutheran Hospital's Eating Disorder Unit and as a Medical Social Worker at Cook County Hospital, St. James Hospital and currently at Palos Community Hospital, dealing with child abuse, substance abuse, adoptions, domestic violence, sexual assault, trauma, adjustment to illness and assessing patients' level of function. Kass joined New Leaf Resources in 2002

Therapy Focus
Kass sees individuals from high school age to seniors. In addition to the aforementioned experience, her focus also includes relationship struggles, co-dependents of various process and chemical addictions, bullying issues with adolescents, self-esteem, parenting, family of origin issues, depression and anxiety.

Activities
When not at New Leaf, Kass enjoys spending time with her family, friends, volunteering, serving on a local school board, trying new cuisines, attending sporting events, concerts, the theater and being an enthusiastic spectator at her child's events.
